You will have coverage in most of the Turkish territory, including major cities and tourist areas such as Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Izmir, Ankara and the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. Coverage may vary slightly in rural or very remote areas.

No. For short stays or tourist trips, it is not necessary to register your mobile phone. IMEI registration is only required for long stays in Turkey, so if you are travelling for a few days or weeks, you can use your eSIM as normal.
What connection speed can I expect?

In rural areas or less populated regions, the speed may adjust to standard LTE, always maintaining a stable connection for browsing, using social media, and making calls via VoIP apps.
Can I top up data if I run out of gigabytes in Turkey?
Yes. From your TurTrip account, you can recharge data at any time, from wherever you are, without changing eSIMs or reinstalling anything.
What should I do if my eSIM doesn’t activate when I arrive?
- Check that your mobile is unlocked and that the airplane mode is deactivated.
- Ensure you have installed the correct profile and that the TurTrip eSIM is selected as the active line in Cellular Data.

- Restart the device.
