If your eSIM does not activate when you arrive in Mexico, don’t worry: a few simple steps will fix it in most cases. First, check that your TurTrip eSIM is selected as your mobile data line in your phone’s settings and that data roaming is turned on.

If it doesn’t connect right away, try restarting your device or turning on and off airplane mode for a few seconds to start a new network search. Also make sure you haven’t enabled a data limit or a power-saving mode that could be blocking your connection.

The Mexico eSIM only works within Mexico. When you cross the border, you will need an eSIM for your new destination or a regional eSIM.
